The highly polished Tall Fur Felt Top Hat, Edwardian style, provides a striking outline at any formal occasion. The top hat was the status symbol of the 19^th Century gentleman and flourished in the 1930’s when Fred Astaire, Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich and others bought it back into favour with new motion pictures. Christys continues to produce a fabulous range of top hats to the traditional methods using melusine hoods.
